
Marie Orzano, St. Anthony, Oceanside (with pastor, Jesuit Father D. James French): An active parishioner since 1987, Marie is a very hard worker who stays behind the scenes. She is currently involved in bereavement ministry, choir, volunteers in the food pantry, heads the baptismal ministry, and volunteers for many other projects throughout the parish.

Rose-Marie Peterson, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Patchogue (with pastor Father Michael Torpey): Involved in the parish since childhood, Rose- Marie has been coordinator of altar servers, leader of song, a catechist, lector, sacristan, and extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. She established a Children’s Liturgy of the Word and founded Upbeat Ministry for college students. Rose-Marie has been active in campus ministry at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School and currently as a student at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue.

Mary Ann Arabia, St. Francis de Sales, Patchogue (with pastor Father Thomas Pers): A parishioner for many years, Mary Ann has been involved with the outreach program and is also an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion. For the past few years she has run a fundraising event called the Taste of Patchogue, which has been a great community-building event for the parish.

Barbara Saulino, Infant Jesus, Port Jefferson (with pastor Father Patrick Riegger): Barbara has served the parish for over 30 years as director of religious education. She is so well respected and loved by many parishioners.

Thomas DeVito, St. Gerard Majella, Port Jefferson Station (with pastor Msgr. William Hanson): Tom began a “50 Plus” club at the parish with 17 members. It has grown to 500 members, some from others states. He is a gifted organizer who puts endless hours into this effort.
