OLMA crew team honored

Our Lady of Mercy Academy’s crew team was cited by the New York State Scholastic Rowing Association as a Scholar/Athlete Team for the Fall 2011 season. The award recognizes varsity high school teams with at least nine rowers in grades 10, 11, and 12 who have achieved a team GPA of 90 percent or higher during the season. Led by head coach Julie Solar and assistant coach Deirdre Reedy, the team from the Syosset school includes scholar athletes Caitlin Campbell, Veronica Cirelli, Jaime Goode, Erin Grim, Victoria Magnozzi, Caileigh McGoldrick, Sarah Preputnik, Kelsey Salvo, Jenna Troetti, Christina Vezza.
