Sister Mary Bernadette Phillips, OP

SPARKILL, NY — Dominican Sister Mary Bernadette Phillips, 79, passed away Dec. 31 in Siena Hall Infirmary in Dominican Convent here.

She entered the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill on September 8, 1952 and received the name Sister Catherine Martin. She professed her first vows in 1954 and her final vows in 1959. She received a B.S. in education from St. Thomas Aquinas College here.
