Teams wanted for 3-on-3 hoops tourney at Our Lady of Victory
Our Lady of Victory School in Floral Park is holding its first 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and Fundraiser on Saturday, March 10, at the school gym. The event is open to players age 13 and older.
Team entry forms must be completed and paid by March 5th. Space is limited to the first 24 teams to sign up with payment. Entry fees are, for ages 13-21: $200 per team, and ages 21 and older: $300 per team. Forms are available at www.olvfp.org or can be requested by e-mail to olv3on3@gmail.com.
Tom Hayden, former Floral Park mayor and Our Lady of Victory CYO basketball coach, will be honored during the event. Funds raised from this tournament will be used to enhance academics at OLV School, support the school’s SmartBoard technology, purchase classroom supplies, and provide cultural arts performances, as well as tuition assistance.
